Karapatan welcomes these resolutions by the Commission on Human Rights Regional Office in the Cordillera region reaffirming basic rights of individuals and groups against red-tagging and other forms of violations.
We hope that it continues to support human rights defenders at risk in the region against malicious and deadly attacks of the NTF-ELCAC.
We likewise enjoin other regional offices of the CHR to release similar resolutions on the numerous complaints brought before their offices, as urgent responses to the dire situations of defenders and their communities.
