During his first time to appear in court since his initial appearance in March 2025, Rodrigo Duterte appears more than well enough to stand trial. In his appearance in court today, Duterte gets to be seen by the whole world, especially by the families of victims of extrajudicial victims, as the court prepares for his trial.
Today, thousands of evidence and scores of witnesses are announced to be presented during the trial. It is important that these and more be presented considering the gravity of Duterte’s crimes.
Duterte should be made fully accountable for his crimes against the Filipino people. And we will remain as vigilant as ever in this whole process.
