Hustisya: Release Tomas Dominado on Humanitarian Grounds!

,

Hustisya, an organization of victims of human rights violations and kin, call for the immediate and unconditional release of Tomas Dominado, who is currently detained at Pototan Jail in Iloilo, despite his serious and worsening health condition. His continued detention under dire conditions is a grave affront to human dignity and a clear violation of his fundamental human rights.

Tomas Dominado, an advocate of social justice, is now facing serious health issues that demand urgent medical attention. No person, regardless of political belief or affiliation, should be subjected to inhumane treatment or denied access to proper healthcare. Justice and humanity must guide our actions, especially in cases where life and well-being are at stake.

The very principles of justice are rooted in respect for human life. Prolonging Dominado’s detention under these conditions is not only morally reprehensible but also legally unacceptable. His health crisis calls for immediate action from the authorities.

Justice delayed is justice denied, and in this case, it could mean a death sentence for an ailing political detainee.
We urge the government, the judiciary, and all concerned authorities to demonstrate fairness by releasingTomas Dominado and providing him proper medical attention.

Release Tomas Dominado now!
Justice for all political prisoners!
